BAPS 2011 International Congress, Belfast
The congress will take place on 19th-22nd July 2011 and we will be meeting in the fabulous new Waterfront Hall in the city centre.
Belfast is the city that built the Titanic, so we are looking forward to an exciting meeting with a good social programme.
Just as Belfast is a compact city, so nowhere in Northern Ireland is more than 2 hours away from the city. Within minutes from the city you can find yourself in some of Europe's most unspoilt scenery or along dramatic coastlines. In one day you can take a tour of the dramatic Antrim coast and the Giant's Causeway (a world heritage centre and an area of outstanding beauty). Or you can visit the reagion of Armagh and Down, childhood home of CS Lewis and the inspiration for Narnia! Visit St Patrick's grave on a hill top cemetery or take in the breathtaking scenery where the mountains of Mourne really do sweep down to the sea.
Belfast itself is a dynamic and forward looking European destination. Northern Ireland is rated the safest region in the UK and the second safest country in the world (United Nations Report).
We look forward to welcoming you to Belfast in 2011.
