BAPM Perinatal Trainees’ Meeting – The Road to the Top

This meeting is aimed at Paediatric trainees with an interest in Neonatology as well as Neonatal Grid trainees at all stages. A section of the day is intended primarily for those early on in training, with a separate section for those who are nearing completion of training and/or Consultant application.

  • Getting ready for home – discharge management and follow-up of late preterms
  • How the NHS works – structure, management and neonatology’s place

Career Guidance Surgery – a range of discussions on relevant topics including

  • How to develop a research interest
  • The Neonatal Training Pathway
  • Preparing for consultancy
  • Challenges and support as a new consultant

Lunchtime Career Guidance Surgery

The lunchtime career guidance surgery gives delegates the opportunity to have a chat with one of the speakers to discuss any aspect of their training and/or career. These spaces are limited and as such are offered on a first come, first served basis, thus early booking is recommended.
