European Pediatric Colorectal Symposium

The 7th European Colorectal Symposium is a two-day intensive teaching course which will examine the management of pediatric surgical problems.

The Center of Pediatric Surgery/Hannover Medical School is hosting the 7th European Colorectal Symposium.  In cooperation with Professor Marc Levitt (Columbus Center for Colorectal and Pelvic Reconstruction) this two-day intensive teaching course will examine the management of pediatric surgical problems including:

  • Liver operating room demonstrations with discussion
  • Methods of evaluation of surgical techniques
  • Anorectal Malformations
  • Cloacal Malformations
  • Pre and postoperative considerations
  • Hirschsprung disease
  • Idiopathic constipation
  • Fecal incontinence

This course is designed for paediatric surgeons, trainees, and pediatric gastroenterologists managing children with colorectal issues.  In additions to lectures and case discussions, it includes live demonstrations of the surgical repair of colorectal problems.  More details including registration, can be found at the course website.
