Wednesday 22nd June 2016 & Thursday 23rd June 2016

Over the course of the two days key points will be covered for Hirschsprung Disease, Anorectal malformations and Cloaca. We hope practical aspects of care will be highlighted, future directions outlined and contentious areas debated.

This is a unique opportunity to interact with other surgeons involved in the field in the care of these children from the UK, The Netherlands and USA, with the aim being to discuss different management strategies and operative techniques.

The first day will focus on the non-operative aspects of care, particularly preoperative and postoperative management, and long term follow up. Consultant-level issues will be addressed since there will be parallel sessions for trainees and nursing colleagues.

The second day will focus on operative techniques, Tips and Tricks and “How to stay out of trouble”. A complete video library will be available for review prior to and during the course. We hope this will illustrate key points and lead to discussion. Again, parallel sessions will be run for trainees to ensure we can cover the learning requirements for both trainees and consultants.

There will be opportunity to discuss complex of challenging cases.

We hope to see you there.
