British Association of Paediatric Surgeons

Application process

Hugh Greenwood Travelling Fellowship , Lister Fellowship  and BAPS Scholarship Application Process:

Candidates are requested to submit before the set deadline an application including:

1. Short (2 page) Curriculum Vitae in English

2. 200 word document outlining the reasons why the particular fellowship would be helpful.

Applications should be made to the Specialty Association of their own country/region who will forward a recommendation to the International Affairs Committee of BAPS following a local selection process.

The following Associations are amongst those who have agreed to this process:- FAPSS (for candidates from SAARC countries) and PAPSA (candidates for Africa).

The International Affairs Committee usually WILL NOT ACCEPT any direct applications for fellowships without endorsement of their local paediatric surgical confederation / association.

If you come from a country or region where there is no paediatric surgical association or society which can provide local sponsorship, then International Affairs Committee will be happy to consider an individual application made directly to the International Affairs Committee of the British Association of Paediatric Surgeons through the administrative office.

The applications for various fellowhips and scholarships for  2011 are now closed.
