ACCEA 2012

Full results of the last round are now available on the ACCEA website. 

The next round for 2012 is yet to be launched.  The ACCEA committee is still awaiting Ministerial guidance on the next round.  It seems that there will be a round for renewals, but whether there will an opportnity for new applications we have yet to hear.  This was still the state of play in March 2012.

2012 Forms for BAPS support

Bronze or silver candidates may choose to submit ONE of the supplementary forms below with their application form.

Gold candidates may choose to submit up to TWO of the forms.

Supplementary forms are:

  • Form D - Research and Innovation
  • Form E - Teaching/Training
  • Form F - Management/Leadership 

Should a candidate choose to submit a supplementary form, the corresponding domain in the application form should be left blank.

All candidates should complete the main application form, Form A.

Marking System

To comply with ACCEA regulations we have a committee of four senior colleagues, plus a lay person who holds a senior position in the NHS, and this committee marks all submissions.

We use the same marking system as the College (as recommended by the ACCEA).

We are only able to support: 6 Bronze, 3 Silver and 2 Gold nominations

Candidates without a national award may apply at Bronze level

Bronze award holders may apply at Silver level

Silver award holders may apply at Gold level

B Distinction Award holders may apply at Silver level only.

Platinum Award

The deadline for self-nomination for Platinum awards to be supported by the College was 12th September 2011. Please see the College or ACCEA websites for more details.
