Grants for research into IBD

Are you a scientist or researcher looking for new funding opportunities to conduct high-risk, high-reward research to improve clinical care for patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD)

Are you a scientist or researcher looking for new funding opportunities to conduct high-risk, high-reward research to improve clinical care for patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD)? If so, the Broad Medical Research Program at the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America may be right for you.

With more funding than ever, the BMRP-CCFA is seeking applications to fund clinical or translational research projects that are innovative; in the early stages of exploration; will improve diagnosis, therapy or prevention of IBD; and will lead to longer-term funding by more traditional granting agencies.  Basic and clinical investigators, scientists not currently working in inflammatory bowel disease, and interdisciplinary teams are encouraged to apply.

One particular area of funding interest this year is the treatment of perianal fistulae.  Colorectal surgeons and others investigating surgical and novel techniques to manage perianal fistulae are encouraged to apply.

Funding may be requested for up to two years.  To apply for the grant, and for more information please visit the BMRP-CCFA website.
