The Royal College of Surgeons of England has offered the 10 specialist associations the opportunity to have a member of Council

The Royal College of Surgeons of England has offered the 10 specialist associations the opportunity to have a member of Council. As you will see from the college documents below this is not designed as a specific specialty representative but it does mean that paediatric surgery will always have a voice on Council.

The position would be most suited to a BAPS member with some experience of national activities such as SAC, the BAPS Executive etc but this is not mandatory. Fellowship of the English College will be provided Ad Eundem if needed.

If you wish to put yourself forward for this position please provide a brief statement outlining your reasons and what you might bring to the role. If we have more than one nomination, Council will be asked to vote in a ballot for their preferred candidate.  Closing date for applications is 31st March 2015.
