It is with great pleasure that we announce the prize winners at this year’s congress:

Peter Paul Rickham Prize for best basic science paper by a trainees was awarded to Stavros Loukogeorgakis from ICH,London and Center for Fetal Research, Philadelphia, USA, for his paper on ‘HAEMATOPOIETIC ENGRAFTMENT OF AMNIOTIC FLUID STEM CELLS FOLLOWING IN UTERO TRANSPLANTATION’

President’s Prize for best clinical paper was awarded to Helen Carnaghan ICH, London, for her paper on ‘DO MATERNAL ANTENATAL CORTICOSTEROIDS DECREASE TIME TO FULL ENTERAL FEEDS IN INFANTS WITH GASTROSCHISIS? A MULTICENTRE RETROSPECTIVE STUDY.

Popular poster prize (voted for by delegates) was awarded to May Bisharat, Royal London Hospital, London for ‘THE ADOLESCENT WARD – A TEENAGE DREAM?’

Judges Poster Prize (voted for by the poster chairs) was awarded to Sofia Bedoya, Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, for ‘TRAUMATIC BRONCHIAL AVULSION IN A 7 YEAR OLD BOY’.
