Executive Committee

The Executive Committee carries out the day-to-day business of the Association

Clinical Outcome Group

Our aim is to develop meaningful clinical outcomes following paediatric surgical procedures

International Affairs Committee

BAPS' International Forum promotes and facilitates international exchange of professional and educational values in paediatric surgery

Education and Training Committee

The aims of the committee are to oversee educational content of college and non college affiliated meetings such as paediatric surgery specialist courses and speciality association training days.

Ethics

Enabling BAPS properly to deal with clinical legal aspects of paediatric surgery

Financial working group

Oversees the budget and investment portfolio; ensures expenditure is in line with what has been agreed by the membership and approved by the trustees.

Research Committee

From abstract selection to vetting fellowship applications, the Research Committee's role is to ensure rigorous scientific scrutiny across a range of activities at BAPS.

Trauma Specialist Interest Group (TSIG)

TSIG is comprised of paediatric surgeons who have an interest in paediatric trauma. There is representation from each of the Major Trauma Centres in the UK and Ireland.

Website Committee

Ensures the BAPS website reflects the work of BAPS and provides up to date information to members, allied health professionals and the public.
