Apart from being a news bulletin site, I also aim to post opinions and pearls of wisdom from experts in specific areas of GI surgery, which will hopefully continue BAPS’s tradition of generating debates, discussions, and (dare I say) controversies. I am excited about involving all members to comment and contribute to this section of the website. I pledge for your support when I contact you in due course. All suggestions are definitely welcome!

Applications are now open for International Fellows in the Department of Paediatric Surgery at The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne, Australia. The positions start between August 2026 and October 2026, for a period of a year.
Applications are invited from motivated and suitably qualified Paediatric Surgeons who wish to join our team at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.
This study day will focus on the management of GI bleeding and is appropriate for consultants in paediatric gastroenterology, consultants in paediatric surgery and senior trainees including SAS and LEDs
