Glasgow, 25th February 2016

We would like to welcome you all to Glasgow for the National Training Day on 25th and 26th February. This will be held on the Queen Elizabeth Hospitals Campus, a new, state of the art facility incorporating Glasgow’s Royal Hospital for Children. This is the largest hospital site in Europe. The training day will be held in the Queen Elizabeth Teaching, Learning and Education Centre. We are co-ordinating with the PSTRN group to facilitate a research collaborative meeting during these days.

The theme for the 2 days will be Thoracic Surgery, from neonatal to adolescent. We hope to include some practice Viva sessions but this will depend on the number of attendees. Final cost will be confirmed next week and we hope to keep this as low as possible. A list of hotels and travel instructions will be issued shortly along with a final programme. The cost for the course will be around £50 payable in advance ideally- but option to pay on the day. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible. More details to follow.

Venue: Queen Elizabeth Teaching and Learning Centre, Glasgow, G51 4TF
