The next National Training Day has been arranged for 24th-25th April at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital

The next National Training Day has been arranged for 24th-25th April at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.   There is a small charge for the two day meeting, and a dinner has been arranged for Thursday night.   Topics covered include: short gut & intestinal reconstruction, Bladder exstrophy, Disorders of sexual differentiation, Congenital Hyperinsulinism, Paediatric radiology, chest wall deformaties, Adolescent Ovarian Pathology and the FRCS exam.

On the Friday there will be a session on short gut and intestinal reconstruction led by Mr Antonino Morabito, Mr Adrian Bianchi and Mr Basem Khalil. They would welcome 5 minute presentations of difficult ‘short gut’ cases from trainees for discussion.

Please inform Rob Peters (email address on flyer) and send presentation slides at least a week in advance. A £50 contribution is asked from trainees to support the host centre in running the sessions over the two days, and does include lunch. Can those intending to attend please give as much advance notice as possible to allow for adequate catering to be arranged. There is plenty of time to get leave, transport and accommodation arranged, so please make an effort to facilitate the running of the training days.
