The European Society for Pediatric Endoscopic Surgery is holding their 2015 congress in Bucharest, Romania. Abstract submission deadline will be 30th April 2015. There are two pre-congress courses:
- Masterclass in Bariatric Surgery in Children and Adolescents which includes live operations, short lectures and discussion throughout – How to set up a service, Ethics, Multidisciplinary approach, Age and case selection, Surgical procedures, Complications, Long-term follow up/outcome
- Advanced Hands-on Skills Lab which includes live operations in small reams under supervision. Surgery includes Brief introduction of the procedures, Cholecystectomy, Hemi-splenectomy, Intestinal anastomosis, Placement of gastrostomy/ACE, Fundoplicaion, Urology procedures, Practical hands-on tips/trouble shooting
The two day congress itself will include round-tables and debates, lectures, posters and prizes for presentations.
