The Hugh Greenwood Lecture will be given by Dan Poenaru who has worked in both Ethiopia and Kenya. His areas of interest are the global burden of surgical disease, chronic pediatric surgical disabilities in Africa, faith issues in clinical practice, and surgical education.

Poster Walks are back! All posters accepted for the congress will form part of the poster exhibition and a poster walk – so all presenters will have an opportunity to engage with delegates.

The President’s reception will be held at the Royal College of Music and although Tom Jones was not available, we are lucky to have secured the services of the Cardiff Arms Park Male Voice Choir to entertain us.
