Course Objectives: To equip surgeons who treat children with paediatric knowledge and skills to enable them to confidently and safely deal with paediatric surgical care. To inform all surgeons in training of the unique factors around paediatric surgical care.

The 2027 SRS Annual Meeting

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION IS OPEN. The meeting will have RCS CPD approval. There will be trainee research oral presentations competing for the SRS prestigious Patey Prize, and significant Surgeon Scientists will deliver inspirational talks.

BADS Conference 2026

This year’s conference will include sessions on frailty, special patient circumstances, thromboembolism prophylaxis, day case robotics, ambulatory urgent surgery, and day surgery and the digital age.

Management of the preterm infant with a stoma

This webinar will cover various aspects of the management of preterm infants with stomas including; surgical decision making around stoma creation and closure, the impact of a stoma on subsequent growth and feeding strategies to optimise nutritional outcomes including the practical aspects of mucous fistula refeeding.
