WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE COURSE?
Lectures include current and new techniques with interactive hand-on sessions allowing delegates to learn the different techniques of PEG insertion in children, including:
– Pull through technique (Corflo PEG)
– Push technique (single stage)
– Gastrojejunal insertion (PEGJ vs button device)
– Laparoscopic-assisted direct PEJ insertion (LAPEJ)
– Case discussions.
WHAT ARE THE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES?
Familiarisation of PEG insertion with practical hands-on sessions and recorded theatre sessions with subsequent case discussion.
