Abstract Submission

We are delighted to announce that the submission for abstracts for poster presentations is now open.
  • The abstract must include the following:   title, purpose, methods and materials, results, conclusion.
  • Abstracts are limited to 300 words (including the title).
  • No identifying features such as names of authors, hospitals, medical schools, clinics or cities should be listed in the title or abstract text, as a “blind” review process will be used. 
  • If your abstract is accepted, you will be contacted to provide asked to enter the name(s) of author(s) and their institution(s).
  • The title should be as brief as possible but long enough to clearly indicate the nature of the study. 
  • All abbreviations must be defined in first use.
  • It is a mandatory requirement for at least one of the authors of any poster to be registered for the meeting.
  • There are no limitations on the number of abstracts that an individual can submit. 
  • Posters will ONLY be accepted in a portrait style.  Accepted posters should be printed in colour, size A0.  Materials to hang posters will be provided on the day.
  • The highest scoring 5 presentations will be invited to deliver a 2-minute oral presentation of their poster, followed by a brief question and answer session.
  • Final date for abstract submission extended to  FRIDAY 9TH DECEMBER.  Authors will be notified if their abstract has been accepted within 7 days of the submission deadline.
