The 4th year of the new starter and Re-entry trainee Boot Camp, will in 2020 be a virtual zoom event spread over two half days. These two sessions will feature all the favourite course hot topics such how to do a successful rectal biopsy, retrieving a coin from an oesophagus, how to prepare for a complex theatre list etc as well as dealing with stress and avoiding burnout at work. The faculty have endeavoured this year to bring as much as possible to the delegate before the meeting, whilst aiming to simulate and stimulate plenty more in the online format.
We all appreciate that lengthy zooms are no good for anyone and we will intersperse each session with breaks as well as just generally getting to know each other (always an important part of the boot camp experience) .
Those candidates who were successful at the recent NTN appointments will be given preference and it is important in your application to state where you are in that process . There will be no charge for successful applicants.
