Advancing paediatric surgery through education and research

New Consultants Study Day

This is a new initiative to create a network for newly appointed Consultant Paediatric Surgeons. We all remember our first few years as Consultants as being a steep learning curve. We are all prepared to tackle clinical problems but how many of us were aware of the leadership, managerial and logistic challenges that accompany the job?

21 Mar

Friends Meeting House

Euston, London, 21st March 2020

This meeting is designed to provide mutual support and a safe place to ask questions and expect honest answers. We have all been there and it is a steep learning curve. We hope that we can provide some mentorship for new appointees as well as practical advice and professional support to consultants within 8 years of their first appointment.
