Whilst BAPS does not have an independent acute response team, our members have expertise in managing paediatric Trauma and BAPS has an active International Affairs Committee. Hence, we would be happy to be contacted for advice.
We would like to extend our warm congratulations to Professor Marian Knight for her well-deserved award of an MBE in the recent New Year's Honours.
The BAPS has received a generous gift from Sir Denis Browne's daughter, Contessa Rosemary Lanza- his medical library.
Applications are invited for the above post commencing on 6th February 2023 for six months in the first instance. This post is to cover a period of maternity leave and is a full time appointment attracting 10PAs. Applicants are required to hold FRCS (Paeds) of the Intercollegiate Board in Paediatric Surgery or equivalent qualifications and be on, or eligible for inclusion in, the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council as a Paediatric Surgeon. Applicants who either possess a CCT or a Specialist Registrar who is within 6 months of the award of CCT are eligible to apply.

This post is to cover a period of absencee and is a full time appointment attracting 10PAs. Applicants are required to hold FRCS (Paeds) of the Intercollegiate Board in Paediatric Surgery or equivalent qualifications and be on, or eligible for inclusion in, the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council as a Paediatric Surgeon. Applicants who either possess a CCT or a Specialist Registrar who is within 6 months of the award of CCT are eligible to apply.
