This Workshop has been organised by Max Cervellione, Lead for the Bladder Exstrophy Service at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, on behalf of The Manchester Bladder Exstrophy Team, The British Association of Paediatric Urologists and The European Society of Pediatric Urology.

Following on from last year’s successful event, the next RCS Annual Surgeon Educators’ Day will take place on Friday 20 May 2016. The aim of the event is to bring together surgeon educators to share best practice and to discuss the current issues and trends relating to education and training.

An opportunity for senior trainees and consultants to learn and practise, on unembalmed adult cadavers, the steps of a defined set of operative procedures which are relevant to both paediatric and general surgical training.

Aimed at senior surgical trainees, consultants and theatre personnel with an interest in laparoscopic liver surgery, this one day course will cover the history and evidence for laparoscopic liver resection.

The ability to take, process and archive digital photographs is essential when hospital medical illustration departments may be unavailable or non-existent. This practical course provides surgeons, doctors and dentists with the skills to produce accurate, high-quality digital photographs.

We would like to welcome you all to Glasgow for the National Training Day on 25th and 26th February. This will be held on the Queen Elizabeth Hospitals Campus, a new, state of the art facility incorporating Glasgow's Royal Hospital for Children. This is the largest hospital site in Europe. The training day will be held in the Queen Elizabeth Teaching, Learning and Education Centre.
