Scholarship: 2015 BAPS Lister Travelling Scholarship

Current Position: Associate Professor of Paediatric Surgery, Christian Medical College, Vellore, India.

Biography:

The BAPS Lister Travelling Fellowship was a great opportunity to meet with other Paediatric Surgeons from the UK. I was able to use this time to observe in Paediatric Urology at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London and Paediatric Surgery at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Norwich. The time I spent at Norwich was extremely useful. I was able to explore and then follow it up with a Sr Clinical fellowship position, which I am currently in. I am currently getting exposure to Paediatric Urology, which will help me set up a Paediatric Urology clinic at my base hospital in India.
